So, I've left the Achaean realms because quite frankly I was devoting much too much time there. I left and posted in a vague way as to my reason for departing as I plan to RP the departure, since I do plan to return in the future some time, though it may be quite a long time (as far as Achaea records time). So for now, I am away at sea on some pressing mission that I was called upon to take..details are vague as I haven't put together the exact direction Leinad will be taking just yet. He loved Cyrene deeply and it would be a very weighty reason for leaving so hastily and for so long. So, I ponder why did he leave? Was someone or something dear to him threatened? Was it ties to his runelore and his skill in toteming called upon? Was it his ties to the elemental Lord Agatheis that made him a candidate for this? I've written to my children from the ship and am able to remain in contact with those in known Sapience via letters delivered by a courier skilled in a special form of transportation (ok, so it's email...). I've given them little detail as to why I had to leave, but I did give them goodbyes and parting instructions. It is likely that I'll be returning for significant events in their lives such as weddings and the like if possible, so we are far away but not so far that planned events couldn't be attended. I left Achaea and looked about for ways to stay connected to the realm without being so connected and this DeviantArt is one place that I found. I am quite amazed at the artwork that is out here. I'm thinking this may be a very good place to continue my Achaean journeys away from Achaea and it is likely I'll post a few things regarding them. I haven't dabbled too much in story writing, but I do enjoy the roleplay involved in games such as Achaea and this may just be an opportunity to grow in that respect. As for the visual arts, I doubt I have much skill or at least no practice there so it'll likely all stay in the form of words and thoughts. They say there is a reason for everything, and finding this community and finding my part in it just might be the reason I had to remove myself from Achaea.
